Etiquette

Please adhere to the following when messaging in Lend a Hand:

• Be respectful

Lend a Hand expects you to treat all users with respect and dignity. Treat others how you would want to be treated. Remember that there is a person on the other side of the messages you send.

• Be punctual

People expect punctuality when it comes to helping others, or offering help. The same is to be expected in messaging. Do not be surprised if tardy behaviour leads to a lost service.

• Don't abuse the system

Messaging users is intended to facilitate those who need help, with those who are offering help. Do not abuse the system by sharing locations or information for purposes outside the scope of Lend a Hand.

• Do not threaten reporting as punishment

Reporting a user is to be taken seriously. Do not threaten to report a user because you do not like the price they offer, or any similar measure.

• Use common sense when meeting others

Lend a Hand is not responsible for the people you chose to procure service to or from. Use common sense when meeting up with others so that you do not find yourself in a dangerous situation.

• Provide feedback honestly

After messaging a user for a week, you will be able to provide feedback. Lend a Hand expects you to use this tool earnestly. Do not provide bad feedback for superficial reasons.
